Second Floor Paint Job

This weekend we again had wonderful volunteers to join in with the staff with the expressed purpose of painting and tiling. Here are the transformational photos of the 2nd floor in the new Bugg House. Remember that the drywall and "mud" finished up just a few days ago.

Anola getting the walls ready for paint. So much dust and so little time ... would you believe this became the orange room?

After the primer coat of paint dried, Andy starts with the orange paint... remember those creamsicle bars? That's the color.

Chris rolling orange.

Here is the orange room this morning.

Ed starts on the blue room -- room 1 in the old numbering system.

Primer going on in the "bigger toilet" upstairs, thanks to Buffy, Ed and Liseli.

Buffy painting the hall white.

Kayla touching up the lilac room.

The saga of the yellow room -- Janet and Chris working on the dust.

After priming the walls, Mike pours out the "moonlight" color of yellow while Erin prepares to paint.

Noah poses for this photo last night.

The yellow room this morning.

Here comes the green room ... with Ed, Noah, Jim and Chris.

The finished product.
